Burial
Paint me naked
upon the bare skin wall.
Hang my body in the clouds
nailed to the ethereal
bound by harp strings
silhouette of a woman
whose fires burn below
consuming her trees
in raptured flames.
Bury me in the deepest tomb,
untouched and forgotten,
so spiderwebs may rest
in the waves
i call
eyelashes,
tear ducts filled
with aquamarine.
Place rubies in her mouth;
remember how she smiled.
Melt the marrow
of bones into honey,
and syphon poetic plasma
from her body
until only
empty space
remains.
